Yes, Samson is a sweetheart of a little guy. His question took my totally by surprise and I had tears all over my face. I just said, “Oh, honey, that’s not where they come out. But it should be!”
I do it then–four down, two to go–and it has worked famously. (Got the idea from the Eyre’s but HATE their book recommendation, btw.) They are old enough to understand, to ask questions, to get it. Young enough to not get all weirded out and giggly and embarrassed.

No, not out of your heart, but that is where the baby started
Ahh, he is so sweet…and at such a tender age he already knows right where babies come from!
What a cutie!
The correct answer to the question is…. YES!!!
Dudette, Alison, I totally thought that you were the kind of momma who had the facts all told by this age.:surprised:
This is totally sweet. Love love love it.
LOL No, not until they are eight.

He said, “Yea, because we love them so much.”
That must be why my heart gets bigger with every baby we add to our family. (Not to mention my hips.)
Is eight really the age to do the birds and bees? Dang.

I am approaching it more in a take-it-as-we-go approach. They are already asking questions, and so I answer them as we go.
Do you have a good book recommendation? I know you have said something before, but I forgot when and where.
Just give Samson a great big hug for me!
