Cool Momma Stuff |
April 2, 2007Are you going to Education Week this summer at BYU? Do you want to meet up with a great bunch of women? Mormon Momma will be sponsoring a Group Link to room together in the on-campus dorms! If you'd like to come along, just drop us a line at: March 27, 2007Not much new content around here, I know. I'm hanging onto it to incorporate it into the new site. I've worked out the main coding and integration bugs in the test files. The next step is going to be to integrate the old items into the new format. Be patient and keep checking back! The message boards are open for you until the final steps begin! March 13, 2007I'm taking the message boards down tonight, to try to get them integrated into the new site. It will only work by some miracle of technology and latent brain cells coming to life, but I'm going to try anyway. You can post as long as they are there. Keep watching! March 12, 2007The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd is now on DVD and available for pre-order! This is the movie that played in the Legacy Theater on Temple Square for years. Hands down my favorite church-produced movie of all time, I ordered mine just minutes after I learned it was available. It's only $5.99! March 1, 2007For one more week, Deseret Book will continue their annual, online sale. Get 50-90% off hundreds of books, CDs, and DVDs. February 26, 2007We just spent 560,000 of our Delta frequent flier miles to schedule our big, summer, family vacation. So travel is more than a little on my mind. If it's on your mind, too, click over to Irv's Luggage Warehouse and get their one-day sale, February 27th only. Use code FEBEND at checkout for 15% off purchases site-wide. If you miss the one-day sale, the link above will still show you some great bargains. Now to fit into that wet suit. Aloha! February 20, 2007I found a great deal at one of my favorite, geek, gadget stores, but it expires in two days! Through February 22, you can get 10% off at Smarthome. Just click the link and use promo code: E10Friends. If you spend $150 or more, you will also get free shipping until March 1. You can use both deals on the same order! February 11, 2007This morning I read one of the best Ensign articles I've read in a long time—and that's coming from someone who reads the thing cover to cover every month. My Ways Are Not Your Ways by Elder Clayton M. Christensen, is a thoughtful, refreshing talk—one that addresses some of the parts of LDS culture that could be changed for the better. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. February 8, 2007Get a completely, utterly, totally free HotMat mouse pad just by clicking on the link! No kidding. Free shipping, too! What's the catch? You have to sign up for a sponsor's free offer. I registered for the Beano sweekstakes. It just took a few minutes. February 6, 2007Deseret Book has some bargains for you this week. I'm not sure how long these will remain on sale, so get them while you can. • 6 Events: The Restoration Model for Solving Life's Problems by Stephen Covey • Go Ye Into All the World: Messages of the New Testament Apostles • Mary, Martha, and Me: Seeking the One Thing That Is Needful by Camille Fronk Olson • The Work and the Glory: Pillar of Light DVD Volume two of this series on DVD is also on sale. • Choose Something Like a Star by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir This selection features composer Randall Thompson's Frostiana—seven Robert Frost poems set to music. I sang this music as a member of Exultate and just love it. This recording is beautiful—and I'm not biased just because my sister is in MoTab! February 5, 2007Valentine's Day is coming fast and we have some great floral bargains for you. 1-800-Flowers Another company, From You Flowers February 2, 2007If your kids (or you) are Harry Potter fans, like mine, you'll love this amazing offer.
